ANNOUNCEMENT OF SURVEY RESULTS PRESENTATION OF VETERANS OF THE CONFLICT IN THE EAST OF UKRAINE AND THEIR FAMILIES

The presentation of the results of the survey of veterans of the conflict in the east of Ukraine and their families will be held on January 23, 2020 at 11:00 in the premises of «Ukrinform» (8/16 Khmelnytskyi Str.), in the room №1, carried out in the framework of the project on reintegration of veterans, implemented by the International Organization for Migration, funded by the European Union.

The Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Oksana Koliada, European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, Acting Head of Mission at IOM Ukraine Anh Nguyen will attend the event.

The purpose of the study was to collect and analyse information on the socio-economic challenges faced by veterans and their families. The summary of the study is based on a survey of 2,530 interviews in Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrivsk Oblasts of Ukraine, conducted from July to October 2019.
