Safe reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories will allow to preserve the sovereignty and restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Ihor Yaremenko stated the aforementioned during the panel discussion "Human Rights and Reintegration of the Occupied Territories" at the forum "Dialogue on Reforms: On the Way to Vilnius".

"Safe reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories is a guarantee of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Taking into account the fact that the issue of security currently remains open, we are looking for ways to reach people's hearts on TOT with alternative methods and to get to the border earlier, in particular, through services for people," emphasized Yaremenko.

He also noted that Ukraine continues to engage in active dialogue and is looking for new ways to communicate with people who reside in the temporarily occupied territories.

"We are trying to facilitate access to state administrative and social services for people who reside in the temporarily occupied territories and are hostages of the occupation regimes. This month we opened a new service center at EECP "Schastia", and in three weeks we plan to open a new service center at EECP "Novotroitske". And next year such service centers will be available at all EECPs. With the help of services, including additional transfer of these services to online format, by attracting youth to study in Ukrainian educational institutions, we are trying to reach out to civilians in the territory that we temporarily do not control, to show that they are citizens of Ukraine and have the right to a full life in united Ukraine," summed up Ihor Yaremenko.
