The Ministry for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine continues to inform the international community about the events in Ukraine for strengthening the fight against disinformation by aggressor country.

On November 19, 2019, the Deputy Minister on European Integration Oleksii Ilyashenko met with a delegation of representatives of foreign mass media from Spain, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, Georgia and the Republic of Cyprus at the Ministry for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.

Oleksii Ilyashenko described the mass media about the activities of the joint department, main areas of work and interaction with international organizations, and also thanked the journalists for their attention to the socio-political situation in Ukraine due to the temporary occupation of certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, and the temporary occupation by the Russian Federation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, called for honest work to be done, including in coverage of information about armed aggression in Ukraine and the consequences of it.
