THE STATE BORDER GUARD SERVICE: INFORMATION ON CHANGES IN THE WORKING SCHEDULE OF THE CHECKPOINTS AND EXTENSION OF THE QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS, SITUATION AT EECPs IN DONBAS

27.05.2020 | 13:01

In accordance with the Order of the Commander of Joint Forces Operation, from June 1, all entry/exit checkpoints on the contact line will change over to a summer work schedule, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At the same time, due to the Government's decision on extension of the national quarantine until June 22, restrictions on crossing the contact line at the EECPs continue to apply.

The crossing of the contact line is only possible by the separate decision of the Commander of Joint Forces Operation in the humanitarian emergencies. However, important life circumstances and a positive decision of the Commander of Joint Forces Operation to cross the contact line do not guarantee crossing, as Russian entities block such attempts and deploy citizens into the so-called "grey zone".

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine asks citizens to take into account information on changes in the working schedule of the EECPs, quarantine restrictions and actions of Russian armed groups.
