The next stage is a visit to the reconstruction facilities, including the complex of the Western Filtering Station of the Communal Enterprise "Popasnyansky District Vodokanal". During the visit, which will be held within days, French specialists will be able to inspect the facilities in Luhansk oblast in person, that will be modernized within the framework of the projects. They will also be able to get acquainted with technical documentation.
Previously, the Ministry for Reintegration launched realization of the project with France on modernization of drinking water supply system in Mariupol. This project is fully financed by provision of a soft loan, the amount of which reaches EUR 64 million. The loan is granted for a period of 30 years, the interest rate is 0.08% per annum, and the grace period is 10 years. The project will allow Mariupol city to modernize the system of housing and communal services that are vital to the population, providing residents with stable water supply and quality drinking water that meets international standards (EU and WHO standards).
