IDEAS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE EAST OF UKRAINE CAN BE REALIZED AT HACKATHON "SAFER COMMUNITIES"
Let us recall, that tomorrow, on October 27, will be the last day of registration for the Hackathon of the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme Hack for Locals 2.0: Safer Communities. So, those who have not yet had time, hurry to register your projects. Hackathon will be held from October 30 to November 1.
The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine acted as a partner of the Hackathon.
The main theme of the Hackathon is security all over Ukraine and in specific settlements.
To participate in the Hackathon, the idea of the project should correspond to one of the following areas: reintegration and community development in the East of Ukraine; crisis response and early warning capacity (for example, fires in Luhansk oblast, climatic emergencies or threats); digital security and digital literacy; coordination of activities between different security service providers and communities; inclusive security services for everyone; public security based on actual open data projects.
The three best projects will be eligible for a grant from the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme to realize their ideas.
