YUSUF KURKCHI: ONE OF THE PRIORITY TASKS OF MTOT - ASSISTANCE TO ADMISSION OF APPLICANTS FROM THE OCCUPIED CRIMEA TO UKRAINIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
Today, during a working visit of the First Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Yusuf Kurkchi to Kherson a meeting was held with representatives of the Educational Center "Crimea-Ukraine" at the Kherson State Maritime Academy (hereinafter the "KSMA")
Participants discussed critical questions that arise for applicants upon admission and are relevant to the general procedure for admission to higher education institutions of children from temporarily occupied territories.
According to Yusuf Kurkchi, one of the priorities of MTOT is the creation of conditions that allow the Educational Centers not to feel alone with the issues that they have to deal with during admission of applicants from the occupied Crimea. First of all, it concerns the issues of obtaining relevant documents, administrative services, certificates, etc.
At the same time, the rector of the KSMA Vasil Cherniavskyi noted that the Institution he heads provides the residents of the occupied Crimea with a free hostel, uniform, prompt responds to the needs of the cadets that arise during their studies.
