THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE HAS REDISTRIBUTED MORE THAN UAH 1 BILLION OF STATE SUBVENTIONS FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE OBLASTS’ INFRASTRUCTURE WITH THE HIGHEST REGISTRATION RATE OF IDPS

The Cabinet of Ministers has redistributed more than UAH 1 billion in subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the restoration of infrastructure of the oblasts where the largest number of internally displaced persons are registered.

The money will be used for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of 243 social infrastructure facilities in oblasts that have received more IDPs. The funds are allocated within the framework of the Emergency Credit Program for Restoration of Ukraine.

The subvention funds will be allocated to the Unified Territorial Communities in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kherson, Odesa and Poltava oblasts, where the largest number of internally displaced persons are registered. Health care, education, culture, sports facilities, community centres and administrative centres for provision of services will be renovated there.
