INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS REAFFIRMED THEIR INTENTIONS TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS
The Credit Institute for Reconstruction (hereinafter referred to as "KfW") and the International Organization for Migration (hereinafter referred to as "IOM") have signed a letter of intent to launch the project "Housing for Internally Displaced Persons", beneficiary of which is the Ministry for Veterans Affairs.
The project will be funded by the Government of Germany through KfW and implemented by IOM.
According to the Adviser to the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, Ruslan Kalinin, it is expected that the implementation of the Project will begin next year.
It is planned to create 25,000 square meters of living space, with the active participation of local communities in Government controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.
