THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL COMMISSION HAS ESTABLISHED PAYMENTS TO ANOTHER 24 UKRAINIAN CITIZENS ILLEGALLY DEPRIVED OF THEIR LIBERTY BY THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The Interdepartmental Commission for consideration of issues related to the recognition of persons deprived of liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine and the implementation of measures aimed at their social protection adopted a decision to allocate monetary assistance.
Therefore, another 21 families of Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned as a result of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as those who are currently behind bars will be provided with monetary assistance worth UAH 100 000.
Three more Ukrainian citizens released from Russian captivity will also receive monetary assistance worth UAH 100 000 from the state.
Accordingly, another UAH 2.4 million will be allocated for the corresponding payments.
At the next meeting, up to 50 more applications received by the Ministry from persons deprived of their liberty or their families are envisaged to be considered.
Let us recall, that on September 1 of this year, the Interdepartmental Commission has allocated monetary assistance worth UAH 100 000 to 10 families of Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned by the Russian Federation. The same amount was allocated to 18 Ukrainian citizens released from Russian captivity.
Furthermore, the Ministry for Reintegration of TOT continues work on simplification of the mechanism for provision of assistance to citizens who were adversely affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation (illegally convicted, prisoners of war).
