THE MINISTRY FOR REINTEGRATION HAS INITIATED WORK ON THE DRAFT STRATEGY OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RECOVERY OF DONBAS

The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine informs of the initiation of work on a draft strategy of Economic and Social Recovery of Donbas, in order to ensure conditions for the return of human capital, sustainable development and increase of the socio-economic indicators of the territories affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Relevant Interdepartmental working group will be established at the Ministry for Reintegration to develop a Strategy of Economic and Social Recovery of Donbas. The Ministry for Reintegration have sent relevant letters of invitation to join the work to 189 institutions, including: government bodies (11 Committees of the Verkhovna Rada, Presidential Office, the National Security and Defense Council, National Bank of Ukraine, 8 Ministries, State Tax Service, State Customs Service, Donetsk and Luhansk Regional State Administrations, Civil-Military Administration in Avdiivka and Toretsk) - 28; local governments (local councils and amalgamated territorial communities) - 44; associative groups - 37; research institutions - 22; international organizations - 7; non-governmental organizations - 51.

Let us recall that the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine has submitted draft Action Plan of the Ministry to eight Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
