Specialists of MVTOT have collected enough information about those who were involved in the act of armed aggression against ships of the Ukrainian Navy (which were captured by the Russian security forces (siloviki) on November 25, 2018 in the Kerch Strait).
As well as against the so-called "investigators", "prosecutors" and "judges" who organized politically motivated prosecutions, trials to Ukrainian citizens on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
According to the results of the work carried out, in particular, in cooperation with the "Crimean Human Rights Group", representatives of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs prepared a draft regulation on the application of restrictive measures (sanctions) against several dozens of persons.
The draft regulation is sent to relevant authorities for approval. After its approval, the draft regulation will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for consideration and, if adopted by the Government, will become the basis for the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine on the application of sanctions.
"Ministry for Veterans Affairs emphasizes that human rights are fundamental, non-negotiable and undeniable, and their violation is the greatest crime against a person," noted the Head of the Department on the Crimea and Sevastopol Serhii Mokreniuk.
