OLEKSII REZNIKOV: NO PROVOCATIONS WILL STOP OUR WORK IN THE INTERESTS OF CITIZENS OF DONETSK AND LUHANSK OBLASTS
Preparation for the opening of the second multifunctional service center at EECP "Novotroitske" (Donetsk oblast), established by a unified standard, which has already been implemented at EECP "Schastia" (Luhansk oblast), is going according to plan. The facility will be ready to receive citizens in mid-December.
Furthermore, active work continues on the Strategy for Economic Development of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the Concept of which is already submitted for approval to different authorities. At the same time, discussions with business sector and experts continue on the content and specific activities of the Strategy.
"Neither diseases, nor other problems will stop us. After all, we see the hopes with which our citizens look at the initiatives of the Ukrainian authorities on both sides of the contact line in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. This became especially noticeable after the opening of the service center at EECP "Schastia". The launch of the compensation program for destroyed housing, payments to prisoners and their families, assistance with the purchase of housing and other steps give a signal that Ukraine is consistently working for people to improve the situation for them. At the same time, we see that these steps by the Ukrainian authorities are very confusing for representatives of the Russian occupation administrations. For example, in Luhansk oblast, Russian-controlled structures have been blocking the opening of EECP in Zolote and Schastia cities for the third week now. They "protect" the population, which they hold as hostages, from Ukrainian pensions and social benefits," emphasized Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov.
"Just prior to the opening of the service center in Novotroitske settlement, we record the pressure in the mass media controlled by Russia in ORDLO, as Ukraine is accused of some aggressive intentions. Through Russian channels, which were actively used to spread fakes about events in Belarus and Nahorno-Karabakh, currently stream "horror stories" about Ukraine. As they say, the opening of service centers, payment of pensions to people are all lies and there has been hidden agenda. At the same time, people in the occupied areas of Donetsk oblast receive writs demanding to report to the conscription offices because there is a preparation for mobilization. Previously, after such propaganda training, provocations were made by the occupation structures. All this is done with the same goal, which is to distract attention from the steps that Ukraine is taking. We must be ready for this and keep going," summed up Oleksii Reznikov.
