MINISTER FOR VETERANS AFFAIRS MET WITH THE ARCHIBISHOP OF SIMFEROPOL AND CRIMEAN UOC-KP KLYMENT

The Minister for Veterans Affairs met with the Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimean Ukrainian Orthodox Church Klyment.

They discussed the issue of protection of the religious community of the Crimean Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Crimea, as well as the preservation of Ukrainian identity on the Peninsula during the meeting.

These issues can be resolved by the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which is currently being developed by the Ministry for Veterans Affairs.

The Head of the Department of the Ministry Serhii Mokreniuk, and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Krymska Svitlytsa” Andrii Shchekun also attended the meeting. They jointly discussed the issue of how to act in order to disseminate Ukrainian content on the territory of the temporarily occupied Peninsula in the information space in order to counter Russian propaganda.
