REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MINISTRY FOR REINTEGRATION OF TOT IN 2020 HAS BEEN PUBLISHED
The report on the results of activities of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories in 2020 has been published.
Therefore, one of the main achievements of the Ministry's work over the past year is the finalization of the concept of economic development of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, which was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on December 23. Strategy of economic development of these regions and the package of corresponding bills for its implementation are already being drafted on the basis of concept.
Furthermore, a draft bill "On state policy of the transition period" has been developed, which is already under review by 161 respondents.
Moreover, the key achievements of the Ministry for Reintegration of TOT for 2020 are the following:
Opening of the service hubs in Shchastia and Novotroitske settlements. By the end of the year such service hubs will appear at all 10 EECPs and will be of a unified standard. As well as the opening of two new EECPs in Shchastia and Zolote cities.
The payment of compensation for the fact of destruction of housing due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation began for the first time in 7 years of the war (up to UAH 300 000). Such payments were allocated to 74 persons in 2020. The Ministry for Reintegration of TOT expects that at least 380 persons will receive such compensations this year.
External independent testing was cancelled for children from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) for admission to Ukrainian universities in 2020.
Subvention worth UAH 20 million was allocated for the purchase of 84 apartments for 260 IDPs. In 2021 subvention worth UAH 125 million will be allocated for the provision of housing to 950 IDPs.
65 facilities in 19 settlements of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts have been equipped with solar power generation sources.
Payments were made to 17 recipients of state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko, 86 former Kremlin prisoners and 116 families, whose members are illegally detained in the temporarily occupied territories.
The work on expansion of online services continues. Therefore, since October 2020 the electronic certificate of IDP is already available in the mobile application "Diia" (Action). A chat-bot "Legal Adviser for IDPs" (Yurydychnyi Poradnyk) was launched (jointly with the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program and the charitable foundation "Right to Protection"). Moreover, the communication with Google on the integration of the Crimean Tatar language to the Google Translate service has been started.
