THE MINISTRY FOR REINTEGRATION MOSTLY RECEIVED QUESTIONS ON HOUSING FOR IDPS VIA HOTLINE
On Tuesday, First Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Rostyslav Zamlynskyi answered questions from persons who called 1545 hotline of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Most of the calls were made by residents of Donetsk oblast. Most callers were interested in how to register in line for housing for internally displaced persons in a particular settlement and what documents must be provided for that purpose. In addition, part of the questions concerned how to receive monetary compensation for the affected persons whose houses or apartments were destroyed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Also, part of the questions concerned the restoration of documents for people whose property and personal belongings were destroyed in the occupied territories as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
Former prisoners released from the captivity of Russian militants in Donbas as a result of the mutual release of persons called government hotline to find out about the payment of UAH 100 000 for those released from captivity in 2015. Rostyslav Zamlynskyi explained that there is no approved mechanism for payment of monetary assistance to those who were released before 2019. "We inherited this problem. We, together with non-governmental organizations, have prepared all the documents to amend the procedure for payment of monetary assistance to quickly vote for it at the government meeting to correct this injustice," said First Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine while communicating with the persons who called the hotline of the Cabinet of Ministers.
