“DESPITE THE WAR UKRAINIAN DONBAS GRADUALLY RECOVERS,” DEPUTY MINISTER FOR REINTEGRATION
Despite the war and the occupation of part of the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, Ukrainian Donbas develops and gradually recovers.
Inna Holovanchuk, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine stated the aforementioned in the program "Na samom dele: Donbas" on "Dom" TV channel (video).
“We integrate people first of all. We talk about educational programs, provide quality medical services. I would like everyone to understand that Donbas is not only about a war. Speaking about the reintegration of the region, we mean its investment attractiveness. Not about the abstract, but about specific territories,” emphasized Inna Holovanchuk.
According to her, after her working visit to Donbas, she saw that the sentiment of local residents there is much more optimistic than expected. “Sometimes it seemed that I was not even in Ukraine, how roads look like, which is the general sentiment, and how cities look like. That's why we advocate for the peaceful life to be returned and it shouldn't be tied to whether this conflict will last for much longer,” noted Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
Let us recall that last week, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Inna Holovanchuk paid a working visit to Donetsk and Luhansk oblastsof Ukraine, and worked in the regions from 4 to 8 July.
