260 367 PEOPLE CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE DURING JUNE 2019

During June 2019, 260 367 people and 41 870 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions

Comparing with May, the number of crossings by civilian population increased by 31.63%, and vehicles by 30.29%.

EECP «Chonhar» was crossed by 55 965 people and 11 405 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 74 448 people and 13 166 vehicles;

EECP «Kalanchak» was crossed by 52 175 people and 5 681 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 63 380 people and 6 752 vehicles;

EECP «Chaplynka» was crossed by 6 062 people and 2 136 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 8 337 people and 2 730 vehicles.

The citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territories, travel to the controlled area to visit families, to purchase the necessary goods and services and to obtain services, etc.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing of EECPs by citizens.
