347 100 PEOPLE CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE DURING JULY 2019

During July 2019, 347 100 people and 57 819 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions

Comparing with June, the number of crossings by civilians increased by 33.31%, and vehicles by 38.09%.

EECP «Chonhar» was crossed by 83 754 people and 14 861 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 94 096 people and 15 713 vehicles;

EECP «Kalanchak» was crossed by 66 355 people and 7 092 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 75 832 people and 7 965 vehicles;

EECP «Chaplynka» was crossed by 11 897 people and 5 601 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 15 166 people and 6 587 vehicles.

Citizens of Ukraine living in the temporarily occupied territory travel to the Government controlled area to visit families, purchase necessary goods and obtain services, etc.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing capacity of EECPs for citizens.
