173 256 PEOPLE CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE DURING NOVEMBER 2019

During November 2019, 173 256 people and 25 929 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions.

Comparing with October, the number of crossings by civilian population decreased by 9.86%, and vehicles decreased by 9.59%.

EECP “Chonhar” was crossed by 41 234 people and 7 993 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 40 556 people and 7 565 vehicles;

EECP “Kalanchak” was crossed by 25 119 people and 677 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 25 304 people and 643 vehicles;

EECP “Chaplynka” was crossed by 20 647 people and 4 620 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 20 396 people and 4 431 vehicles.

The citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territories, travel to the controlled area to visit families, to purchase the necessary goods and services and to obtain services, etc.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing of EECPs by citizens.
