407 752 PEOPLE CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE DURING AUGUST 2019

During August 2019, 407 752 people and 56 721 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions

Comparing with July, the number of crossings by civilian population increased by 17,47%, and vehicles decreased by 1,90%.

EECP “Chonhar” was crossed by 107 047 people and 15 982 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 93 115 people and 14 906 vehicles;

EECP “Kalanchak” was crossed by 83 867 people and 8 743 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 77 921 people and 8 470 vehicles;

EECP “Chaplynka” was crossed by 24 548 people and 4 327 vehicles towards Government controlled area of Ukraine, in the opposite direction - 21 254 people and 4 293 vehicles.

The citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territories, travel to the controlled area to visit families, to purchase the necessary goods and services and to obtain services, etc.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing of EECPs by citizens.
