REGIONS SHOULD ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE CO-FINANCING PROGRAM FOR PURCHASING HOUSING FOR IDPS

The Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Ruslan Kalinin encouraged representatives of regional state administrations to do so during the conference.

«Last year, we updated the composition of the Commission, which considers UTC's applications for a subvention for the purchase of housing for IDPs. According to the principle of financing, 70 percent from the state budget and 30 percentfrom the local budget to purchase more than 80 apartments. I encourage you to continue this cooperation and actively submit your applications», ‒ Ruslan Kalinin addressed the representatives of the Regional State Administration.

Decree No. 769 provides for the purchase of temporary housing for internally displaced persons. At the end of last year, 12 cities and towns submitted applications and, by decision of the Commission, received a subvention for the purchase of housing. The Deputy Minister encouraged the other UTCs to actively participate in this program and thus to contribute to the process of housing for IDPs.
