«SOLOVEI SPIVAIE» – MOVIE WAS RELEASED FEATURING THE VETERANS OF THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR AS ACTORS
Documentary film «Solovei spivaie. Doky holos maie» (Nightingale sings. As long as he has a voice), which the ATO/JFO veterans joined in developing, is an innovative and monumental study of the language issue in Ukraine. The creative group set itself the task not to aggravate the situation, but to draw attention to the need to disseminate true stories and verified information.
How often do you hear the common «What difference does it make, what language to speak», «Language doesn’t matter», «Ukrainian language was only spoken in the villages», «Ukrainian language never was in Kyiv» Whether each of them thinking relaying on these ideas, that in fact, they were skilfully integrated into the public opinion by the propaganda of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation And most importantly - if they are thinking, why?
If language does not really matter, then why for many centuries each of the invaders of the Ukrainian lands tried, first of all, to eliminate the Ukrainian language, resorting to sophisticated methods of linguocide
