FOUR "KREMLIN PRISONERS" RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS NAMED AFTER LEVKO LUKYANENKO IN OCTOBER
In October, the Ministry for Reintegration of TOT paid state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko to four citizens who were illegally detained and captured by the Russian Federation, the occupation administrations of the Russian Federation in Crimea and temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine.
One of the persons who is currently receiving a scholarship named after Levko Lukyanenko was previously released and receives his own funds. The three prisoners who have been awarded this scholarship are still being illegally detained by the Russian Federation and the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories; their relatives and/or trusted persons have received funds for them.
The list of citizens who received state scholarships, determined by Decrees of the President of Ukraine No. 237 dated from May 17, 2019 and No. 514/2019 dated from July 11, 2019.
The state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko are awarded in the amount of three subsistence minimum for Ukrainian citizens, illegally detained and captured by the Russian Federation or the occupation administration of the Russian Federation, which has established and exercises general control over the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea due to the social or political activities of these persons.
After release from illegal detention, political "Kremlin prisoners" receive state scholarships for one year.
