THIRTEEN "KREMLIN PRISONERS" RECEIVED STATE SCHOLARSHIPS NAMED AFTER LEVKO LUKYANENKO IN SEPTEMBER
The Ministry for Reintegration has disbursed state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko. Today the state scholarships for September were paid to the 13 persons who were illegally detained and captured by the Russian Federation, the occupation administrations of the Russian Federation in the Crimea and temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
Eleven of those, who currently receive state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko were previously released and are receiving funds on their own. Two of the prisoners entitled to this scholarship are still illegally detained by the Russian Federation and the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories, and their relatives and/or trustees have received funds for them.
The list of persons who received state scholarship is determined by the Decrees of the President of Ukraine No. 237 dated from May 17, 2019 and No. 514/2019 dated from July 11, 2019.
Information. The state scholarships named after Levko Lukyanenko are awarded in the amount of three subsistence minimum for Ukrainian citizens, illegally detained and captured by the Russian Federation or the occupation administration of the Russian Federation, which has established and exercises general control over the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea due to the social or political activities of these persons.
After release from illegal detention, political "Kremlin prisoners" receive state scholarships for one year.
