TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE EECP IN THE AUTONOMOUS REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA AND SEVASTOPOL

Until April 3, 2020, the work of entry/exit checkpoints from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol shall be temporary suspended, except for admission of Ukrainian citizens and their family members:

- the place of residence of which, in accordance with the procedure established by law, is registered in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea or Sevastopol, as well as their vehicles, cargo and other property - for entry;

- the place of residence of which, in accordance with the procedure established by law, is registered outside the Autonomous Republic of Crimea or Sevastopol, as well as their vehicles, cargo and other property - for exit;

- persons with the purpose to ensure the protection of national interests or in connection with the implementation of international obligations, representatives of diplomatic agencies and humanitarian missions, leaving the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as their vehicles, cargo and other property.

Exit from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol of other categories of foreigners and stateless persons is carried out in coordination with the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

We emphasize that the temporary closure of the EECP will not only reduce the flow of possibly infected Ukrainian citizens through the EECP, but will also protect them. First of all - the elderly persons, because the coronavirus is the most dangerous for them due to medical siptics.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we URGE:

- to be conscious, and take responsibility for your own health and the health of your close ones;

- in case of first symptoms of respiratory diseases, consult a doctor immediately;

- to use coronavirus information only from official sources;

- not to disseminate unverified and officially unconfirmed information about coronavirus;

- refrain from visiting public places, catering establishments, mass events - concerts, performances, cinemas, sports competitions, shopping malls;

- people who have returned from countries where COVID-19 was found to PROVIDE SELF-INSULATION for the duration of the incubation period (14 days).

We would like to remind you that in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on the territory of Ukraine until April 3, 2020 additional temporary restrictions on crossing the contact line with temporarily occupied territories (TOT) in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts were introduced.

Therefore, it is no longer possible for persons who do not have permanent registration of their place of residence in the Government-controlled territory of Ukraine, as well as foreigners and stateless persons who do not have permanent registration of their place of residence in the Government-controlled territory of Ukraine to cross the EECP from TOT. At the same time, the crossing in the opposite direction will be carried out without restrictions.
