593 814 PERSONS CROSSED THE CONTACT LINE IN THE EAST AND 84 022 PERSONS CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE IN KHERSON OBLAST IN MARCH

According to the information of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, 593 814 persons crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine in both directions; 415 193 persons out of them crossed the contact line through the EECP in Donetsk Oblast, 178 621 persons crossed the contact line through the EECP “STANYTSIA LUHANSKA” in March.

Compared to February, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in general by 51.86% and also by vehicles decreased by 51.78%.

EECP “STANYTSIA LUHANSKA” was crossed by 178 621 persons and 0 vehicles;

EECP “MAIORSKE” was crossed by 122 689 persons and 20 761 vehicles;

EECP “MARIINKA” was crossed by 121 120 persons and 20 761 vehicles;

EECP “NOVOTROITSKE” was crossed by 145 824 persons and 17 714 vehicles;

EECP “HNUTOVE” was crossed by 25 560 persons and 10 242 vehicles.

Besides, humanitarian cargoes with 125 tons of food products and 5 tons of medication and medical equipment were delivered by international organizations through the EECP “NOVOTROITSKE” on the temporarily occupied territory.

Citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territory, travel to the Government controlled area of Ukraine to visit family and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, and the like.

The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine is actively working on improving crossing conditions for citizens, as well as on increasing capacity of the EECPs.


As for the crossing of the administrative line in Kherson Oblast, according to the information from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, 84 022 persons and 13 986 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions in March 2020.

Compared to February, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in general by 56.28% and also by vehicles decreased by 51.23%.

EECP “CHONHAR” was crossed by 16 714 persons and 3 591 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 16 790 persons and 3 312 vehicles in the opposite direction;

EECP “KALANCHAK” was crossed by 20 895 persons and 2 376 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 23 315 persons and 2 418 vehicles in the opposite direction;

EECP “CHAPLYNKA” was crossed by 3 096 persons and 1 150 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 3 212   persons and 1 139 vehicles in the opposite direction.

Citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territory, travel to the Government controlled area of Ukraine to visit family and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, and the like.
