1 186 300 PEOPLE CROSSED THE CONTACT LINE IN THE EAST OF UKRAINE IN JUNE

During June, 1 186 300 people crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine in both directions. 880 200 out of them - through the EECP in Donetsk Oblast, 306 100 people - through the EECP «Stanytsia Luhanska»

Comparing with May, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in general by 1.42% and also by vehicles decreased by 3.79%.

EECP «Stanytsia Luhanska» was crossed by 306 100 people and 0 vehicles;

EECP «Maiorske» was crossed by 275 900 people and 33 400 vehicles;

EECP «Marinka» was crossed by 256 100 people and 43 600 vehicles;

EECP «Novotroitske» was crossed by 223 200 people and 37 900 vehicles;

EECP «Hnutove» was crossed by 125 900 people and 29 700 vehicles;

Besides, humanitarian cargoes were delivered by international organizations through the EECP  «Novotroitske» on temporarily occupied territory; 200 tons of food products, 281 tons of building materials, and 5 tons of medication and medical equipment.

The citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territories, travel to the controlled area to visit families and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, etc.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing of EECPs by citizens.
