102 PERSONS CROSSED THE CONTACT LINE IN THE EAST AND 2113 PERSONS CROSSED THE ADMINISTRATIVE LINE IN KHERSON OBLAST IN APRIL

According to the information of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, 102 persons crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine in both directions; 57 persons out of them crossed the contact line through the EECP in Donetsk Oblast, 45 persons crossed the contact line through the EECP “STANYTSIA LUHANSKA” in April.

Compared to March, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in general by 99.98% and also by vehicles decreased by 99.95%.

EECP “STANYTSIA LUHANSKA” was crossed by 45 persons and 0 vehicles;

EECP “MAIORSKE” was crossed by 4 persons and 2 vehicles;

EECP “MARIINKA” was crossed by 32 persons and 30 vehicles;

EECP “NOVOTROITSKE” was crossed by 21 persons and 0 vehicles;

EECP “HNUTOVE” was crossed by 0 persons and 0 vehicles.

Besides, according to the information of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, humanitarian cargoes with 121 tons of food products and 9 tons of medication and medical equipment were delivered by international organizations through the EECP “NOVOTROITSKE” to the temporarily occupied territory.

Citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territory, travel to the Government controlled area of Ukraine to visit family and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, and the like.

It should be noted that in order to prevent a pandemic that could be caused by COVID-19, travel restrictions through the EECP continue to apply, no crossing of the contact line by persons and vehicles will be conducted until a separate order is issued, humanitarian assistance is provided systematically in the temporarily occupied territories.

The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine is actively working on improving crossing conditions for citizens, as well as on increasing capacity of the EECPs.

 

As for the crossing of the administrative line in Kherson Oblast, according to the information from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, 2113 persons and 188 vehicles crossed the administrative line in Kherson Oblast in both directions in April 2020.

Compared to March, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in general by 97.49% and also by vehicles decreased by 98.66%.

EECP “CHONHAR” was crossed by 444 persons and 63 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 147 persons and 0 vehicles in the opposite direction;

EECP “KALANCHAK” was crossed by 824 persons and 95 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 613 persons and 3 vehicles in the opposite direction;

EECP “CHAPLYNKA” was crossed by 79 persons and 27 vehicles towards the Government controlled area of Ukraine, and 6 persons and 0 vehicles in the opposite direction.

Citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territory, travel to the Government controlled area of Ukraine to visit family and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, and the like.
