1 156 900 PEOPLE CROSSED THE CONTACT LINE IN THE EAST OF UKRAINE IN NOVEMBER
During November, 1 156 900 people crossed the contact line in the East of Ukraine in both directions. 838 000 out of them- through the EECP in Donetsk Oblast, 318 900 people- through the EECP “Stanytsia Luhanska”.
Comparing with October, there was recorded a decrease in the number of crossings by civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in general by 6.22% and also by vehicles decreased by 6.19%.
EECP “Stanytsia Luhanska” was crossed by 318 900 people and 0 vehicles;
EECP “Maiorske” was crossed by 269 200 people and 31 800 vehicles;
EECP “Marinka” was crossed by 234 700 people and 38 500 vehicles;
EECP “Novotroitske” was crossed by 231 400 people and 44 200 vehicles;
EECP “Hnutove” was crossed by 102 700 people and 23 500 vehicles.
Moreover, humanitarian cargoes were delivered by international organizations through the EECP “Novotroitske” on temporarily occupied territory; 13 tons of food products, 396 tons of building materials, and 19 tons of medication and medical equipment.
The citizens of Ukraine, living in the temporarily occupied territories, travel to the controlled area to visit families and to purchase the necessary goods and to obtain services, etc.
The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is actively working on improving the convenience and speed of crossing of EECPs by citizens.
