Released from the captivity of ORDLO will be undergoing medical and psychological rehabilitation until the end of January.

This was reported to the correspondent of Ukrinform by the Head of the Department of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, Serhii Mokreniuk.

«We hope that the released have the option of medical and psychological adaptation services until the end of this month. And our task is to completely restore their documents during this time», ‒ he said, noting that some of those released had refused medical care, however, majority are currently undergoing treatment in Feofaniya Clinical Hospital.

According to the official, at least 26 former prisoners do not have documents on citizenship of Ukraine, so representatives of the Ministry together with the State Migration Service of Ukraine, is currently working to resolve this problem.

In addition, the Ministry is actively working on providing former prisoners with housing and employment. «We interviewed each of the released about their employment desires, their work experience and where they would like to live. According to this request, we are looking for each of these options, personally, for both employment and housing», ‒ added the representative of the Ministry.

As reported on December 29, 2019, the detainees were exchanged. 76 people, including 12 military personnel, were transferred to the government-controlled territory from ORDLO.
