THE GOVERNMENT DEFERRED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RESOLUTION FOR 30 DAYS, WHICH AMENDS THE RULES FOR EECP CROSSING PROCEDURES
The Government made a decision to defer the implementation of the Resolution «On Approval of the Procedure for entry/exit of persons, transporting goods from/to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts»*
From October 29, according to the Resolution, the rules for crossing exit-entry check points (hereinafter referred to as «EECP») between temporarily occupied territories and Government controlled areas, in particular for children under the age of 14, should be changed. For instance, by the new rules, when crossing the contact line, children need to carry a passport for travelling abroad.
After receiving numerous appeals from citizens and analysing the situation, the Ministry for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine made a decision to defer the implementation of these rules.
Therefore, on the initiative of the Ministry during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a decision was taken to defer the implementation of the decision for 30 days, that is, until November 28 of this year.
