DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER REZNIKOV AND PRIME MINISTER OF CROATIA PLENKOVIC DISCUSSED COOPERATION BETWEEN THE STATES, THREE SEAS AND CROATIA'S EXPERIENCE IN REINTEGRATION

Oleksii Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories and Andrej Plenkovic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia discussed bilateral relations, the Three Seas Initiative and the experience of Croatia in safe reintegration of the occupied territories, as well as transition period issues.

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman also attended the meeting.

Andrej Plenkovic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia expressed Croatia's unequivocal support to Ukraine, as well as noted Croatia's interest in strategic cooperation.

Oleksii Reznikov emphasized that Ukraine highly appreciates the consistent support and assistance that the Republic of Croatia provides to Ukraine on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as in the restoration of our sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders.

Reznikov thanked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia for his assistance and for sharing experience in reintegration issues. "We highly appreciate Croatia's readiness to share its own experience in safe reintegration of the occupied territories and their post-war reconstruction. This is the kind of work we conduct in the framework of this visit, as well as at the expert level. We are also grateful to you for your initiative to establish the Working Group on Cooperation with Ukraine on Peaceful Reintegration. We are working on the appointment of a Croatian co-chair and holding the next (third) meeting of the group soon," added the Ukrainian official.

The Parties also discussed the prospects of holding the next meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Croatian Commission on Economic Cooperation. Such meeting could be held in the framework of the forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine.

"We hope that in the nearest future the co-chairman of the Commission on the Croatian side will be appointed. Also, we hope that in the end of November Mr. Plenkovich will visit Ukraine," summed up Oleksii Reznikov.

The issues of the whole complex of bilateral cooperation and relevant international problems were also touched upon within the framework of the meeting.
