IDPs - SUCCESS STORIES! EUROPEAN QUALITY FOR UKRAINIAN PRICE
With the beginning of Russian armed aggression in the East of Ukraine in 2014, DmytroKosilkin with his wife and children were forced to leave Lysychansk for Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. They left their hometown in a hurry; children's clothing for winter remained at home.
In a new place, they quickly realized that much was in demand in the household, and there were not enough high-quality, inexpensive children's goods in Ukraine. Then the idea to corner that market came to mind - to start own sewing business.
European quality for Ukrainian price - this is the principle that has become the motto of family business.
«At first we decided to sew jumpsuits in the studio, but it was too slow, one for a week. Then we gave the order to the garment factory, and there was another problem: there are volumes, but poor quality. As a result, we bought two sewing machines, made a table and started working on our own», ‒ said Bohdan Yasynskiy, representative of the displaced persons' company from Lysychansk.
Recently, a Small and Medium Enterprises Fair from the East of Ukraine «East Expo 2019» was held in Kyiv with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme and gathered more than 200 entrepreneurs. All the guests and participants of the fair paid attention to bright, extraordinary, and, most importantly, high-quality children's over alls made by Kosilkin family.
