The Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Oksana Koliada started a working visit to Donetsk Oblast. Together with Prime Minister OleksiiHoncharuk, they visited Mykolaivka, which is located near the contact line, and met with local residents.

«The most painful issue is the inability to use hundreds of hectares of land. The first problem: part of the land is mined, on the other part - fortification structures were built, another part is in the grey zone. People continue to pay taxes for these lands», ‒ said Oksana Koliada.

Also, local residents raised the issue of diagnosing tuberculosis, medical care, namely the lack of paediatricians, family doctors, roads, and specifically discussed the problems of communication between small villages, farms with a regional centre.

In addition, representatives of the Government examined the work of the EECP «Novotroitske».

«Together with OleksiiHoncharuk we examined the work of the check point. We talked with people who were traveling from the occupied territory. They say everything works well. We discussed with border guards the importance of deferring the norms regarding children crossing EECP with passports for traveling abroad. We have a month to test the new mechanism», ‒ added Oksana Koliada
